Our policy


Using the Service

Anyone seeking information on the products or services available within the meetings branch can use free of charge.
Informus aims to keep the information available as current as possible. We do however always recommend checking prices, capacity, equipment, etc., directly with the supplier when making a booking.
It is prohibited to copy or in any other way download any or all of the information presented within the Informus service. It is also prohibited to use the service to faciliate a mass mailing for advertisement purposes etc., or in any other way use the content and functions within the Informus service for any other purpose than that for which it is intended.

Participating companies

Companies or organisations that own and actively participate in marketing conference facilities, activities, party/banquet facilities and accommodations may display basic facts about their operations in the informus service free of charge.
Companies, organisations or private persons who supply their own services or products for the conference industry may advertise according to current tarrifs.
Companies that arrange bookings and do not have their own services as named above, may not at this time advertise via Informus as our purpose is to create direct contact between the customer and supplier.


Bookings made as a result of using the Informus service are not subject to commission.


Those who participate in and provide information to the Informus service are responsible for keeping their own information up-to-date and accurate.

Recommended browser etc.

It is Informus's policy that the service should be accessible to as many users as possible. At the same time we want to take advantage of the latest possibilities offered by, for example, more modern browsers.
PC: We recommend Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 7 or later versions.
Mac: We recommend Internet Explorer 5.2 or Netscape 7 or later versions. For the most part, Safari 1.0 works but there are still a few minor compatibility problems.
Suitable browsers can be downloaded from Microsoft or Netscape.
Most pages are made so as to provide a good picture on screens with 800x600 pixels or more. Search pages demand a resolution of 1024x768 or more.
If you have a screen with lower resolution the pages are still usable but you will have to scroll both up and down and across the pages.
